 How to overcome anxiety: Allow yourself to be anxious. Dont fight it. Endure it. Go through the anxious situations in life without resistance to the feelings of anxiety. Those anxious feelings disapear the less you fight it.


This is the nature of the fight or flight response. You judge a situation as a "threat", this judgment creates feelings of "stress", you then attempt to fight the feelings of stress and resist the "threat" which creates a loop of anxiety.


Remove the perceived threat, and the anxiety goes away. Emphasis on percieved. Percieve the threatening situation in a less threatening way, and it releases some of the stress associated with it.


Remove the resistance to the feelings of "stress" by allowimg the stress to exist within yourself. Affirming "ahh, im feeling anxious. Thats interesting" then continue on with life regardless. If you do this honestly, it relieves some of the anxiety


This is exactly how I completely resolved my 2 year run-in with constant panic attacks and anxiety disorder.
